Howdy! My name is Emilie Filloon, but you are welcome to call me Millie Moonshine.
Right now, I am an Apparel Design and Production student and I am eager to be an innovator in the fashion industry. I am looking to get my foot in the door with an internship opportunity. My passion is driven by my creative mind but also backed up by my mathematical skills and attention to detail.
I was born and raised in Colorado. With that, I enjoy hiking and fishing in my free time. Additionally, I come from a long line of farmers and "by-the-boot-strap" hard workers. My journey in the industry started at a young age, where I grew up in my family’s leather store. My legacy fuels the passion I have for keeping the western lifestyle and art spirit alive.
My Work
When designing, my aesthetic tends to have a western, rock, and folk influence with a goal of elevating basics and making garments for the unapologetic, bold customer. When combining these styles, I am able to create a modern and unique take that allows others to ditch expectations and live in their own style.
My dream is to create a brand that celebrates all bodies, adjusts to environmental innovations, and allows my consumer to live a confident life.
